Eve starts working on the skull and things that have never happened to her before starts in. This was the first book that warned me about it and made me more empathetic when it happened. Speaking of Bill Evans, I was disappointed he was not even mentioned in the book despite his being one of greatest interpreters and torch carriers of the great American song book (a little less about Mitch Miller and his atrocious songs would have been nice).
